A hotel-anchored plaza is planned for the University of Arizona area.
The Marshsall Foundation announced Graduate Tucson & The Collective at Main Gate, which will feature a hotel, apartments, retail, restaurants and a public plaza adjacent to campus.
The 165-room Graduate Tucson hotel will feature a rooftop pool and bar, a standard swimming pool, fitness center, as well as meeting and event spaces.
The Collective Apartments will contain 238 units, with 6,000 square feet of indoor lounge and gathering spaces, as well as a fitness room, spa and pool.
Groundbreaking will be in the fall, and the project will be finished in 2020.
