The Hooters location in Marana will close Sunday, according to a news release.
The Hooters that's closing is at 4385 W. Ina Road.
Southern Arizona Regional Manager Dave Peterson released the following statement on the closure:
"We were supported for 18 years by our outstanding, loyal guests. Our Marana location hosted many memorable occasions for thousands of our neighbors. We appreciate our community and the support for so many years. Unfortunately with the restricted access due to Ina road closures and construction, it is time for us to close this site. We will focus on relocating and searching for new locations that will be more accessible and can support the new Hooters contemporized designs."
A new location opened at 7280 East Broadway in January and Hooters says it plans to bring another location off of I-19 and Irvington that should be opening in 2019, according to the release.
