TUCSON, Ariz. - The acclaimed Broadway musical "Hamilton" will make its way to Tucson later this year.
Broadway in Tucson revealed its 2020-21 season schedule this week, listing "Hamilton" for Centennial Hall performances between Nov. 24 and Dec. 13.
It's the touring version of the show that earned 11 Tony awards. The hip-hop infused show tells the story of Alexander Hamilton and his rise from humble beginnings to founding father status.
The show continues to be such a hot ticket that viewers have to often buy them from scalpers or resort to a lottery in order to secure seats.
Single-show tickets aren't yet on sale, but season tickets are available here.
It's the show's second trip to the state. It played in Tempe in 2018.
Other shows in the 2020-21 lineup include "The Band's Visit" (Oct. 14-18), "Hadestown" (Jan. 5-10), "Hairspray" March 26-28), "Tootsie" (May 4-9) and "Pretty Woman" (May 25-30).
