TUCSON, Ariz. - Former KGUN9 anchor Guy Atchley will serve as Grand Marshal for the 2019 Tucson Rodeo parade.
The legendary newsman anchored at KGUN9 for 34 years, wrapping up his career in March 2018. He now hosts a radio show on KGVY in Green Valley and Sahuarita.
Over the decades, Atchley became known for his photography and deep appreciation of Western history and traditions.
The parade, known as one of the longest non-motorized processions in the world, starts at 9 a.m. Feb. 21 on the southside, finishing at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds.
