A state grand jury indicted 18-year-old Tucsonan Mahin Khan on several terrorism charges Thursday.
The grand jury charged Khan with terrorism, conspiracy to commit terrorism, and conspiracy to commit misconduct involving weapons.
"The Attorney General’s Office remains committed to partnering with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and all federal and local law enforcement partners to keep Arizonans safe," said Attorney General Mark Brnovich in a statement.
Khan, who is being held in jail without bond, is due in Maricopa County Superior court July 8.
