Goodwin Fire: Evacuation orders lifted for communities

Evacuations have been lifted for communities near the Goodwin Fire.

According to the Yavapai Sheriff's Office, the areas include Blue Hills, Upper Blue Hills, Dewey/Humboldt and all areas west of State Route 69 south to milepost 280.

The following communities remain under mandatory evacuation: Poland Junction, Pine Flat, Breezy Pines, Walker, Potato Patch, Mount Union and Mountain Pine Acres.

The Goodwin Fire has burned nearly 25,714 acres in the Bradshaw Ranger District of the Prescott National Forest, according to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.

The fire is 44 percent contained.
