Goodwill is hosting two recruiting events on Thursday and is also looking to train Ironworkers for its Gladiator Program.
The first recruiting event will be on Thursday, October 4th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. This will be on 7201 East 22nd Street at the Goodwill Job Connection Center.
The second recruiting event will also be on Thursday October 4th from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.This one will be at the Goodwill Job Connection Center location on 1907 N. 1st Avenue.
It's also offering free training for the Gladiator Program. It's a 40-hour instructional class that will introduce you to "Concrete Reinforcing Steel Trade" and is designed to provide an in-depth, visual, and hands-on experience. The program gives trainers an opportunity to personally evaluate each student on an hour by hour and day by day basis. These classes are almost weekly. Anyone interested can go by either of the recruiting events to reserve your spot for training.
Goodwill employees start at $14.00 per hour. After 30 days, there is potential for a $1 raise. Then, after 60 days, another $1 raise. ANd then after 90 days, another $1 raise. After 90 days, employees also have access to paid medical benefits.
