Arizona Game and Fish released 20 bighorn sheep in the Pusch Ridge area Tuesday.
Five of the sheep were rams and 15 were ewes, said department rep Mark Hart. Six of the sheep were collared.
The release was part of the department's ongoing efforts to reintroduce a sustainable population of sheep into Southern Arizona.
