The Federal Trade Commission says you shouldn't use gift cards for anything not on Amazon's website because of scams related to the cards.
Scammers are asking people to pay for major online purchases, including cars, boats and RVs, with Amazon gift cards.
The FTC says scammers will use the cards without giving buyers the items.
