The Frye Fire near Safford is slowly growing Friday.
The fire has burned 41,327 acres and is currently 45 percent contained according to the Coronado National Forest.
There are 826 people assigned with 45 engines and 9 helicopters, as well as seven dozers and 14 water tenders.
The Frye Fire area closure is expanded to all campgrounds, roadways and trail systems within the Forest Boundary in the Pinaleno mountain range.
The lightning-caused fire began June 7.
Temporary flight restrictions remain in effect until further notice.
