Free HIV testing available at dozens of clinics statewide

TUCSON, Ariz. - An initiative dubbed Get Tested AZ is encouraging people to get tested for HIV.

More than 100 clinics across the state are offering the tests. Sonora Quest Laboratories, Walgreens and Albertons and Safeway pharmacies are participating.

Free HIV test vouchers are available to adults who have not been tested in the last year. To receive a voucher, as well as get information on procedures, as well as locations and times, visit GetTestedAZ.org.

Those who test negative will be connected to the state's free mail-order condom and HIV prevention drug services.

Positive testers will be given medical care options.
