TUCSON, Ariz. - A former financial official for a county educational entity has been indicted in an embezzlement case.

According to state Attorney General Mark Brnovich, former Pima County Joint Technical Education District (JTED) account services manager Tyler Jeffrey Buntrock faces six felony counts of violation of duties of a custodian of public monies.

Buntrock allegedly collected more than $12,000 from students and parents, then deposited that money into his own account rather than the JTED account.

The Arizona Auditor General's Office investigated the case.
