TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A man involved in a six-car collision Friday near the intersection of Grant Road and Fairview, according to Tucson police.
Rafael Rojas, 37, died Sunday from injuries suffered in the wreck.
Sgt. Pete Dugan said three people were injured in the wreck. Rojas was ejected.
Rojas drove a 2000 Mercedes convertible southbound on Fairview at a high rate of speed. The driver ran a red light and was hit by a 2005 Ford Econoline van traveling westbound. The van then hit a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta that was stopped in the eastbound turn lane, then turned on its side. The Mercedes spun into traffic and hit a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria and a 1977 GMC pickup truck.
