TUCSON, Ariz. - The new tower at Banner University Medical Center welcomes its first baby.
Hazel Ortega was born at 1:11 p.m. Wednesday -- the day the tower opened -- to Anisha Galaz and Abraham Ortega.
Banner UMC closed its old labor and delivery and maternity units in the original hospital building.
All babies at Banner UMC will now be delivered on the fifth floor of the new tour.
Baby Hazel received a basket of Arizona Wildcats-themed goodies.
