Firefighters rescued a driver whose SUV was stuck in the Pantano Wash late Thursday night.
According to Tucson Fire, the driver called 911 after water started flooding his vehicle. A swift water rescue team reached the scene at 10:45 p.m. Crews extended the ladder into the wash and helped the driver out.
The vehicle remained in the wash to be towed out later.
