Firefighters put out a blaze at a southside home late Tuesday night.
The fire forced a family of four out of the home, in the 600 block of West Calle Antonia. The fire started in the 11 p.m. hour and was out before midnight.
Fire crews, including nine units with 23 firefighters, spotted smoke coming out from the ends of the roof. A ladder crew cut a hole to access the attic from above and put out the fire in the attic space above the living room.
The cause and damage are under investigation.
