TUCSON, Ariz. - Rural Metro firefighters put out a house fire near Sabino Canyon and Snyder Road Wednesday.
According to the department, people living in the home woke up to the sound of smoke alarms at 6:30 a.m. They escaped safely.
Crews found flames burning in the walls and attic space, and had the fire under control within 20 minutes.
The cause and damage are under investigation.
