TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Fire crews put out an early-morning fire Wednesday at an abandoned midtown home.
The call came in at 4:34 a.m. from an area near 8th Avenue and 22nd Street. Ten units with 23 firefighters responded to the scene and had the blaze under control within 25 minutes.
A ladder crew cut a hole in the roof to allow trapped heat and smoke to escape the building.
No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
