Rural/Metro Fire crews rescued a hiker who suffered heat exhaustion Thursday.
According to the department, crews found the woman near the Douglas Springs Trailhead.
Crews hiked about 1 mile in 107-degree heat to rescue the woman, who refused to be transported by ambulance for more treatment.
