A new electric vehicle plant will set up shop in Casa Grande, bringing 2,000 jobs to the region.
Menlo Park, Calif.-based Lucid Motors will build a 500-acre, $700 million manufacturing facility and start selling vehicles there in 2018. The facility will be at Peters and Thornton Roads, near the I-8/I-10 junction.
Gov. Doug Ducey announced the move along with company executives at a Tuesday press conference.
