El Charro Cafe has introduced a head-turning dish -- the Hola Hemp tamal, which boasts hemp seeds as a main ingredient.
Server Omar Salazar said the vegan dish includes olive oil, flax seeds, quinoa, nopalito cactus and a side of tomatillo salsa verde, has been a popular seller.
There is no HTC in the tamales, meaning diners won't get high from eating them.
Arizona passed a law earlier this year that will allow farmers to grow industrial hemp.
The dish is available at all three Tucson El Charros: 311 N. Court Ave., 7725 N. Oracle Road and 6910 E. Sunrise.
