TUCSON, Ariz. — Two tasty Tucson establishments are getting national attention from the James Beard Foundation.
The culinary organization named El Charro Café and Barrio Bread among the semifinalists for its 2019 awards.
Categories range from best new restaurant to most outstanding chef.
El Charro Café made the Outstanding Restaurant category, while Don Guerra with Barrio Bread made the Outstanding Baker list.

The winners for the James Beard Foundation Awards will be announced on Monday, May 6, at the Awards Gala in Chicago.
The foundation has been highlighting the best dining experiences for more than 30 years.
