TUCSON, Ariz. - Eegee's presented checks to five local charities totaling $128,901 Thursday.
The donations were raised by coupon book sales. The funds went to Cody's Friends, Coaches for Charity, Nourish, The First Tee of Tucson and Therapeutic Ranch for Animals & Kids.
In June, Eegee's sold coupon books with 12 months of discounts to customers for $7.
Over the past 10 years, the restaurant chain has raised more than $3 million for local chairities.
