TUCSON, Ariz. -- Desert Springs Academy students and staff learned Tuesday the school will not open after the holiday break.
The last day of classes is Friday December 21, 2018.
A letter on the school's website cites low enrollment, an increase in charter schools, and unforeseen circumstances as the reasons for the closure.
Desert Springs Academy is an East side charter school near the corner of Speedway and Houghton.

One parent told KGUN 9 fewer than 100 students attend the school.
They'll all need to find a new school before the new semester begins next year.
