DUI driver to serve 3 years in death of cousin

A man who killed his cousin in a DUI wreck in January 2015 will serve three years in jail.

Mario Granillo of Rio Rico received the sentence for manslaughter and DUI convictions. His cousin, Armando Granillo, died in the crash.

In January 2014, Mario Granillo was driving a Toyota station wagon south on Interstate 19 north of Sahuarita Road just before 3 a.m. when it drifted onto the shoulder. Mario Granillo overcorrected and spun back across southbound lanes and hit a tree in the median. 

Armando Granillo was ejected from the car and died at the scene.
