An Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper was injured after attempting to arrest a wrong-way driver Friday.

Marana police, which are investigating the incident, say the accident happened near I-10 and Ina. The driver, 53-year-old Karie Laflamme, ran over the trooper's foot, causing minor injuries.

Laflamme, who faces charges of aggravated assault of a police office and aggravated assault of a police officer with a weapon, is in custody and is being evaluated by paramedics.
