The Diocese of Tucson today announced a multimillion restoration project for Cathedral Square.
Plans include restoring several historic buildings, as well as constructing a new office and conference complex around St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. The project will cost between $40 million and $45 million.
The Diocese says the project will enhance the downtown area and attract more tourists.
