Deputies rescue injured hiker on Mount Lemmon

MOUNT LEMMON, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County Sheriff's deputies came to the rescue of an injured hiker on Mount Lemmon Wednesday.

Deputy Cody Gress said the call came in at 2:30 p.m. near Butterfly Trail. A woman said she broke her ankle and would wait for rescue crews with water and shade.

Rescue units, a Mount Lemmon deputy and a helicopter responded to the scene.
