Pima County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a gunman who robbed a southside sandwich shop Wednesday. Deputies say the crime is possibly connected with a May 31 robbery of another sandwich shop.
Deputies say the man robbed the Subway at 3760 S. Palo Verde Road. He showed an employee a black handgun in his waistband and demanded money from the register. He then entered a small white car and drove away.
The man is white, in his mid or late 30s, stands between 5-8 and 6-3 and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds. He wore a blue, long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
Those with information should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
