Deputies look for purse thief

TUCSON, Ariz. - Pima County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man and woman who stole several expensive handbags from a department store.

According to the department, the crime happened at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 at the TJ Maxx at 6240 N. Oracle Road.

The woman loaded a shopping cart with handbags, then walked out of the store while the man stayed behind. The man offered a credit card that was declined.

The man said he would go get another credit card, but never returned.

The total value of the handbags was $1,130.

The man is Hispanic, in his 20s, with medium height and build.

The woman is Hispanic, in her 20s and has long hair.

An additonal person of interest is a Hispanic woman with blonde hair.

Those with information should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
