Pima County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting southwest of town.
According to a department spokesman, the shooting was at the Tierra Palms apartment complex in the 6400 block of South Camino de la Tierra.
The call came in at 10:15 a.m. Two men with apparent gunshot wounds were hospitalized. Their injuries are serious.
Deputies are investigating the cause of the shootings.
One of the victims was inside and the other either drove himself to the hospital or was dropped off there.
