Pinal County Sheriff's deputies arrested a San Tan Valley couple Thursday for allegedly abandoning their 2-year-old boy outside their home so they could play "Pokemon Go."

Deputies say the couple -- 27-year-old Brent Daley and 25-year-old Brianne Daley -- live in the 700 block of E. Payton Street and left their child alone for as long as 90 minutes. They face felony charges of child endangerment and child neglect.

A witness saw the red-faced, sweaty and dirty boy screaming and crying, barefoot and wearing a diaper and shirt, trying to get into the house.

When deputies called Brent Daley and told him his child was found abandoned, he replied "Whatever" and hung up on the phone. When they Daleys returned, they told deputies they left the boy sleeping at home as they went to put gas in their car. They later admitted they were off playing "Pokemon Go," stopping at parks to interact with the game.

The Daleys were booked into Pinal County Jail and the state Department of Child Services took custody of the boy.
