TUCSON, Ariz. — Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened at a convenience store back in August.
Deputies were called out to the Quick Mart on 4200 East Benson Highway on August 23.
Upon arrival deputies found a victim identified as 35-year-old Anthony Corral with a gunshot wound.
Deputies say Corral was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Through further investigation deputies found the suspect identified as 34-year-old Tito Rene Scott.
Scott was booked into Pima County Adult Detention Center, PCSD say.
Scott is facing charges of first-degree murder, shooting at an occupied structure, and aggravated assault.
The investigation is still ongoing.
