TUCSON, Ariz. - A deadly multi-vehicle wreck shut down westbound Interstate 10 near San Simon in Cochise County Tuesday morning.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, traffic was detoured at milepost 382 and re-entered the freeway at milepost 378.
The incident occurred at 3:18 a.m. The two vehicles were involved, including a semi, which caught fire. One person died as a result of the crash.
Westbound lanes have since been reopened.
