Firefighters put out a house fire in the yard of an unoccupied southside home early Tuesday morning.
According to Rural/Metro Fire, crews were on the scene of the fire, in the 16000 block of South Penrose Lane, at 3:10 a.m. They had the blaze, which was inside a 24-foot travel trailer, under control within eight minutes.
No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
