TUCSON, Ariz. - Rural/Metro Fire crews responded to an eastside house fire Tuesday.
According to the department, the fire was near Camino Rosa near Sunrise and Swan. The fire started in the home's garage and extended into the attic.
One person was in the home and managed to escape uninjured. The Red Cross is helping the person find shelter.
Firefighters had the blaze under control within 25 minutes.
Fire investigators say "Determined the cause of this fire to be accidental as unattended cooking appliances."
Southbound Swan was closed from East Eastland to East 22nd Street while crews battled the blaze. It reopened at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
