According to the department, the hikers were stranded at Wild Burro Trailhead.
A family a three walked down the trail. However on the way out a woman from the group couldn't walk any further, and crews were called out. Once they reached the family they provided them with hydration and assisted her the rest of the way out of the trail, according to NWF.
