Rural/Metro Fire crews extinguished a southside mobile home fire Thursday.
According to department rep Jay Karlik, the fire was in a single-wide home in the 5800 block of South Bonney Ave.
A dog inside the home died, and one resident suffered minor burns. The cause is believed to be electrical.
