TUCSON Ariz. - Tucson Fire crews put out an eastside apartment fire Tuesday morning.
According to the department, 14 units with 21 firefighters responded to the 200 block of South Kolb Road at 8:20 a.m. They had the blaze under control by 8:36.
Black smoke was coming out of a room on the southwest side of the ground floor of the building.
Firefighters evacuated tenants and put out the fire, which came from the kitchen. The damage has yet to be determined. No one was injured.
