Northwest Fire crews battled a house fire in Gladden Farms Friday afternoon.
According to spokeswoman Trina Motto, the fire was in the 12000 block of Fallen Fence Lane.
The call came in just before 1 p.m. Crews found smoke coming from the back of the home and extinguished flames coming from the patio. No one was at home at the time, and crews made sure a pet Chihuahua was okay.
The cause and origin are under investigation.
