TUCSON, Ariz. - A therapy dog officials say is the first assigned to work in a U.S. corrections facility has arrived at Pima County Sheriff's Department.

According to the department, the dog -- named Officer Luke -- has been training or 10 months.

Officer Luke will help corrections officers interact with inmates, and is meant to reduce stress among inmate populations, with the goal of reducing suicide, violence and assaults.
