County asks for $100M to repair roads

Pima County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry is requesting $100 million in property taxes to help repair roads for the next five years.

The Board of Supervisors will review the proposal during a tentative budget adoption meeting May 23.

The request comes on the heels of a city election in which voters approved a temporary half-cent sales tax hike to fund road repairs and public safety.
