Cochise County has issued a red flag warning Saturday due to the five wildfires burning in the area: Lizard Fire, Dragoon Fire, Bowie Fire, Saner Fire and Rucker Fire.
The main concern is the Lizard Fire's threat to the Cochise County Stronghold. High winds are anticipated out of the Southwest/West, warm temperatures, and low humidity.
Evacuations have been implemented in parts of Dragoon and Cochise Stronghold communities. A pre-evacuation has been ordered for the Sunsites Pearce area.
The American Red Cross Shelter has been moved from Benson High School to Valley Union High School located at 4088 E. Jefferson Road.
There are no reported road closures.
