TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Parks and Recreation is cutting hours and putting stricter regulations in place due to the spike in COVID-19 cases.
All ramadas will be closed through the end of December. All reservations in that period will be canceled, with customers getting credit or refunds.
Also, games or tournaments will not be scheduled at city fields. Some current planned games will continue if they adhere to social distancing plans. No spectators will be allowed at events and no events involving interstate travel will be allowed.
Also, "A" Mountain will now close 30 minutes after sunset.
Gatherings will be expected to be at 10 or fewer people, with social distancing.
