CBP seizes meth, cocaine at Nogales border

In three separate incidents, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized more than 100 pounds of cocaine and meth at the Port of Nogales April 20.

According to the CBP, officers arrested a 44-year-old Mexican man after finding nearly 20 pounds of cocaine hidden inside his Volkswagen.

Officers also arrested a 66-year-old Honduran woman after finding 24 pounds of cocaine and 40 pounds of meth hidden in her Pontiac sedan.

In the third incident, officers arrested a 25-year-old Mexican man after finding 16 pounds of cocaine in his car's drive shaft.

Officers seized the drugs and vehicles, then transferred the suspects to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
