In a pair of separate incidents in Lukeville Saturday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized five weapons and more than 90 pounds of marijuana.
Officers arrested 39-year-old Sonoyta, Mexico resident Nicolas Rodriguez Morales after finding 90 pounds of marijuana hidden in his 2006 Buick.
In another incident, officers arrested 26-year-old Phoenix resident Julian Higuera after finding several automatic weapons and handguns, as well as ammunition.
Officers turned the suspects over to U.S Homeland Security Investigations.
