U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized drugs and unreported cash at the Port of Nogales in separate weekend incidents.
Here's a roundup, according to the CBP:
* Officers arrested a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman from the U.S., as well as a 21-year-old man from Mexico, after finding more than 10 pounds of meth hidden beneath a vehicle's shifter.
* Officers arrested a 49-year-old Mexican woman after finding 24 pounds of meth hidden in her Ford SUV.
* Officers arrested a 36-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman from Mexico after finding 107 pounds of marijuana hidden in their truck's roof and seats.
* Officers arrested a 46-year-old Mexican man after finding more than $145,000 in unreported U.S. currency hidden in his SUV's rear quarter panels.
Officers seized the vehicles, money and drugs, and turned suspects over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
