CBP officers stop woman with meth taped to legs

In separate incidents over the weekend, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped two Mexican women and and Rio Rico, Ariz. woman who allegedly tried to smuggle meth through the Port of Nogales.

Here's a roundup, according to the CBP:

* On Aug. 19, a 31-year-old Nogales, Son. woman had 3 pounds of meth wrapped around her calves. Moments later, a 29-year-old Nogales, Son. woman was also found with three pounds of meth wrapped around her calves.

* On Aug. 21, officers found 43 pounds of meth hidden inside a 24-year-old Rio Rico woman's Maza sedan.
 
Officers seized the vehicle and drugs, and turned all suspects over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
