TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police are investigating a carjacking that ended in a wreck.
Police say it started at around 3:30 a.m. when a 20-year-old suspect, who was under the influence of alcohol, attacked a 63-year-old man, forcing him from his Nissan Titan truck near 3700 N. Park Ave.
The 20-year-old suspect -- Gaspar Guadalupe Torres-Palomares -- was arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and theft of a means of transportation, Police said Monday.
The suspect crashed into a power pole near Congress and Granada transported to the hospital.
