TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police say a car hit a utility pole near Stella and Wilmot Wednesday, stopping traffic in the area as crews worked to remove the pole.
Wilmot was closed in both directions.
Police did not have a time for the roadway to reopen.
The wreck was a single-vehicle crash that split the utility pole. Tucson Electric Power called in a crew to assess the damage and remove the pole.
